A man was apprehended on Sunday for allegedly sexually assaulting an IT professional in a hostel room located in Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram. The police confirmed the arrest, although they have not disclosed the suspect's identity.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Thiruvananthapuram City) Farash T., the accused is a resident of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, and works as a truck driver and owner. The police received a report on October 17 regarding the assault on the IT professional by an unidentified individual.
